Although it didn’t look good for team Cake at the end of Valentine, some are still clinging to the hope that’ll those crazy kids will still get another chance. However, it looks like Chris Zylka isn’t so confident in that happening at this point…

“Adam has obviously won Cassie,” said Zylka. “If you weren’t crying at the end of the last episode, you don’t have a heart. [Laughs] It was the most amazing romantic scene in a show about witches that I had ever seen, so of course, Jake is going to be jealous. He’s never lost before. Jake is so enthralled with winning and always being the best, and he finally lost something that he could have controlled. I’m not sure if he’s going to know how to deal with that, even though him and Adam have grown to put up with each other.”

Do you agree with Zylka’s thoughts? Or do you believe, given a long-healthy run of the series that Jake and Cassie could somehow be brought together again? Given The CW’s track record, happy-long-lived couples don’t tend to last long on their shows i.e. Buffy, Charmed, Supernatural which could possibly make Cassie and Adam a ticking clock.
